HAVANNA CAFE

We enjoyed our usual trip to Havanna Cafe yesterday. Ethan's been going to Havanna since he was 10 days old! Up until Jared returned to work full time in February, we were going there everday! We have our usual....an oranje juice and cafe latte for me, espresso chico and coca cola for Jared and a nice comfy leather seat for me and Ethan while he enjoys his nursing. There's free internet here, great toons, plenty of light, nice creamy coffee and people watching.

Jared and I have always been cafe lovers. Some of the most important moments in our life occured in coffee houses around the world! When we worked together in Bellingham, Washington we made it a daily habit to have our break at the Starbucks around the corner. While in school together at Seattle University we enjoyed the perfect cup of joe at Vivaci cafe. Jared proposed to me at the oldest cafe in Paris, France. And, we made our decision to live a life abroad after meeting our friend and owner of Avellino cafe in Bellingham, Washington. Continuing the tradition, we've adopted Havanna Cafe as our little get away to reminisce about our life together, now complete with the arrival of Ethan James.
Never too young to become a coffee house junkie.....

As you can see, Ethan has got the staff wrapped right around his little finger! What a ladies man! These young ladies have known him since he was a mere babe and they get so excited when we arrive. If he's sleeping they tiptoe around him and wait for him to wake up for thier chance to squeeze his cheeks!

Our friends know where they can find us every Saturday and Sunday. Our good friend, Andy, met up with us yesterday and helped with the photo shoot. I think Ethan was ready for another cafe at this point!
