COCHIGUAZ, VALLE DE ELQUI, CHILE

"Cochiguaz is a place among the mountains that concentrates cosmic energy". Grandma loved this place, which was about 50 kilometers up a narrow dirt road to an elevation of 6,000 feet. The skies were sooooo blue....it was amazing. There were streams along the road, rivers, grapes, and high mountains. The energy was electric, and Pa said that it seemed to make some of his hair grow back? There were also several small self-contained communities with people in search of peace and solitude.
