Yahooooo! We are back home after lots of drving (too much) and after getting to know Chile much much better. It is a diverse country, with so many different regions to visit. It will takes years to explore the entire country; from the glaciers to the south to the driest deserts in the world to the north. Saturday, the first day of ma and pa's vacation we all drove west to the coast. We made a brief stop in the pottery village known as Pomaire, and stoped at the coastal town San Antonio. It is a lower class working port, with lots of interesting sites; albeit a bit run down. The best part, is this village and the coast is only an hour away. Grandma really loves the classic Latin villages, as she really hates the big city life in Santiago!
