TONGOY, PLAYA BLANCA, CHILE

After exploring the grand Andean valleys, we decided to find another beach area for rest and relaxation. Boy did we hit the jackpot, as we discovered a hidden gem, about an hour south of La Serena. The beaches were white, the water blue, the one hotel amazing, and the people.......well.....according to dad, not so friendly. But who cares when you are at the beach. I even can say that I have my official first tan - and that was with 50 sun block!
