SANTIAGO, CHILE
We took our second trip to Chile this past weekend! It was a very short trip, but well worth it because we found our house! Here are some pics of the home we will be renting and the sorounding neighborhood! Ethan was such a great baby during the trip! He is a real trooper and quite the traveler.

What a day!
Jared and Ethan standing on the street in front of the house we are going to rent! It was the first home out of eight that we viewed on Saturday. And look, no big stone walls! Children were playing OUTSIDE, couples were walking, people were biking!
It´s perfect. Take a look for yourself.....
The house is three stories. The second floor has two guest rooms for all of you coming to visit us! The top floor will be the TV room and play area for Ethan.
Here is a little area they call the "estar" located on the second floor, down the hall from the two guest bedrooms and bath. A perfect place to relax with a book while enjoying the view of the Andes outside the balcony window. We both feel in love with this house because of all the bright light streaming into the windows. It felt so warm and cheery!

This is Jared´s favorite part of the house..the tiki bar located in the backyard near the pool. The perfect place for a cuban cigar and whiskey.

Gimme a kiss you sweetie pie!! Ethan loved being outside, under the blue skies. And yes...this was taken during the time of heavy pollution, but, as you can see, the pollution is not so bad up here. The house is located at the VERY very end of the road leading up to the foothills of the Andes, so we are above much of the smog from Santiago below.
Views of the golf course and club located 8 minutes from where we will be living, up into the hills of the Andes. I don´t like golfing, but this view may change me yet! Troy...better get yourself down here!!

Wow! I'm so excited for you and your new locale! It should be lots of fun to be able to get outside more. We had a great time looking at the adorable pictures of Ethan, as well as you and Jared. You all look great! We miss you so much and hope that we can see you sometime in the future, although I have no idea if we will ever be able to visit Chile. What a hoot that would be, huh! We look forward to all the stories and pictures you guys share. It is so much fun to see how Ethan changes and grows. You must be having so much fun! Take care!
