Today was our weekly trip to a new part of Chile - destination ski resorts. We left the house at 1:30PM, to start the quick 45 minute drive to 9000ft, up the windy one way road to Valle Nevado. Traffic can only go uo to the resort from 8:00AM to 2:00PM, and can only go down hill from 3:00PM on.

After a quick hour of amazing driving we arrived at Valle Nevado, 2805m. It was an amazing view into the Southern Hemisphere winter, high up in the Andes. It was a quick stop, as grandma's high blood pressure was making her arm go numb! So we quickly drove back down the mountain.
