It was an extra exciting day today, as Ethan turned 15 months old, and had his very first haircut - it was hard to say goodbye to those beautiful gold locks:(:(

We were so worried that Ethan was going to be fussy, but not even a wimper, albeit with the crack cocaine for babies, the chupete (AKA pacifier). It was amazing to see this developmental stage.....

Ethan has been busy each day, and seems to be advancing very fast (I guess all parents say this:) Anyway, not talking much, but very curious and active. He loves to play with the neighbor children, and his best friend, Florencia, who is also 15 months old.

One of the most amazing things is to watch how Ethan already has bilingual skills and can respond to words or commands in English and Spanish. Also, we have to spell out those magical words now in either language, as if he hears the word chalk, or his friends name, or afuera, or calle, he gets way too excited. Also, he is already very stubborn, and has no problem with attempting to throw a tantrum to get his way - luckily we seem to be winning all of those battles.

More teeth are coming in, and the teething pain seems to have gone away. I sleep great during the night, turning in at about 8PM, and waking up at 7AM. Ok, that is the latest update......

In other news work is going super for Ma and Pa. Pa leaves back to the states in two weeks for a conference at Emory University in Atlanta, GA. Then upon his return, the folks work for a week.......and then we are off to Buenos Aires for Semana Santa. Another great city, that I have not seen yet. Pa's friend from Paraguay who is now working in Venzuela is going to meet us there with his girlfriend, and friends from Chile are traveling with us. Even better, Sussie will be coming along, so she is really excited, especialy since she is a Argentine, but raised in Paraguay.

Nos Vemos!

Don't touch my hair

OK, if you really need to, just give me the chupete.

I feel like a new boy!

Lets go for a drive!
